| Shipping Policy |
Pawfect Chihuahuas will ship our puppies securely and comfortably to
most major international airports in North America and will do so as long
as weather conditions permit. For the safety of our pups we will not ship
in extreme heat or extreme cold. Pets usually cannot be shipped between
16 December and 7 January due to holiday embargoes. Shipping within
Canada is $250 Cdn, and shipping to the US ranges from $300-$600 US
We used to do our own shipping for a lower rate but with only one
international airline departing from Vancouver Island it has become
increasingly difficult so we are now utilizing the services of WorldWide
Animal Travel.
PLEASE NOTE: Two weeks before puppies are ready to go, we will offer
you two possible flight dates to choose from. We realize that not every
flight time is going to be convenient for everyone however shipping is a
time consuming process for us and so there will be a flight change fee if
you require us to ship on an alternate date.
Please mark your calenders early and plan to pick up your puppy on
pickup day. We really enjoy our time off between litters and there is a
$10 per day boarding fee for any pups that have to stay here beyond the
pickup or shipping date provided for any reason other than weather
related flight delays or veterinary recommendation.
We make all the arrangements for you and your shipping fee includes:
-customs paperwork and flight booking
-airline approved kennel
-dry bedding, food, water, and a stuffed animal or toy with moms scent
on it
-transportation to airport
-confirmation phone call or email when flight leaves
